Descriptif

History / Description

Falco : Cane Corso typeDate of birth: 2011 : Size: largeChipped, vaccinated and will neutered before adoptionThis is our handsome Falco, the gentle giant, he is a Cane Course cross (Italian Mastiff) for the first 4 years of his life he was on a chain and did not have any interaction with other dogs, never learned the social codes. When he first arrived with us at Galia he was in a poor state, chain marks on his neck and was very frightened, for all of that he loved people, wanted to he cuddled and caressed and so his education began. He learnt to be social with lady dogs and has 4 female companions who have all since been adopted, he still has difficulty interacting with other males, he is good on the lead and loves his walks, he can go out into the Park and when called returns with no problems at all. Surly it must be his time now ............This is a big Teddy Bear who thinks he is a puppy still and needs a loving home, so many people walk past him, I think due to his size, but given the chance he will be a super dog for a home life, he is clean in his kennel and rarely poops in his box, even when he was on kennel rest he only ever pooped/peed in one spot so that looks good for home living, he tolerates cats but that needs more work yet..This is dogs that loves people and are typically very docile and sweet. Provide him with firm and loving guidance and he will reward you with loyalty. We would love to see him find his place, a refuge is no home for a dog that wants to love and be loved, give him a chance to find that life is better than a chain or a kennel. He will need a secure garden and a place to explore and he loves to doze in the sun, can you find a place for him????
