Descriptif

Pour la majorité des chiens, l’arrivée au refuge est le début d’un cauchemar. Mais pour certains, c’est enfin la chance qui leur sourit, et c’est la cas de ce pauvre Jack. Sorti de maltraitance, bien maigre sous son pelage, il a traversé l’enfer. Malgré ça, il est resté très gentil. Il connaît les ordres de base et est sage en voiture. Il s’entend avec ses congénères. Alors bien sûr, être chez Galia, c’est bien mieux que sa vie d’avant mais ce n’est vraiment pas Byzance! Il a besoin de trouver une famille, au moins en accueil à défaut d’adoptants dans un premier temps, afin de pouvoir souffler enfin! Le Border est une race avec des besoins particuliers dont il faut avoir connaissance pour une adoption réussie. Juste un petit rappel, il faut être patient, disponible et comprendre qu’un chien, qu’il soit acheté ou adopté, quelque soit son âge, n’est pas une machine et ne peut pas être prêt à l’emploi dès son arrivée dans un nouveau foyer!! Jack aura besoin qu’on lui explique les règles de la maison, en douceur et cohérence bien sûr. En bref, patience, amour et empathie sont absolument nécessaires quand on accueille un nouveau compagnon. L’adoption est un engagement de 10 à 15 ans.

Jack : Border Collie Date of birth : 30-07-2014 For the majority of dogs, the arrival at the shelter is the beginning of a nightmare. But for some, it's finally luck that smiles at them, and it's the case with poor Jack. Came to the refuge because of maltreatment, he is very thin under his coat, he went through hell. Despite that, he remained a very kind and friendly dog... He knows the basic orders and is wise in the car. He agrees with his fellows. So of course, being at Galia is much better than her life before but it really is not brilliant! He needs to find a family, at least a foster family until his furever home comes to him..... The Border is a breed with special needs which must be known for a successful adoption. Just a quick reminder, one must be patient, available and understand that a dog, whatever its age, is not a machine and cannot be ready to use upon arrival In a new home !! Jack will need to be told the rules of the house, smoothly and coherently of course. In short, patience, love and empathy are absolutely necessary when welcoming a new companion. Adoption is a 10 to 15 year commitment.
